The Gentoo Coating Technology

Gentoo is a sol-gel organic-inorganic hybrid polymer system developed under U.S. military SBIR contracts. It is hydrophobic, oleophobic, crystal clear at 4–6 microns, conformal, pinhole-free, and anti-galvanic. Originally developed to protect F-16 fighter jet canopies and U.S. Navy landing gear, Gentoo is now distributed globally for industrial, marine, oil and gas, and commercial applications.
